For many of us our pets are like children and some of our most important family members.  they show us unconditional love and attention and much of our life revolves around their care.  Recently, I was getting ready for my own vacation (where Atticus Finch is not accompanying me), and I reflected on the preparation I make on his behalf, is very similar to what I have in place for what happens if I am incapacitated.  I thought I might share what I do to prepare for his vacation away from me.

Aging in place is a desired outcome for most people. But the best way to ensure this can happen is to plan for it and how to achieve it. Developing a plan to age in place all starts with asking yourself the right questions, and taking action to have a meaningful, healthy plan. Here are some of the questions I discuss with my clients in trying to develop a plan to age in their home and improve the odds of making it happen.
